Job Summary
Responsible for keeping track of every financial transaction in the establishment to make sure that all incoming and outgoing money is accurately recorded and accounted for in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. If there are any discrepancies, such as mistakes or fraud, you’ll have to investigate and correct them or report the reason why they happened.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Budget management – creating and managing budgets within the establishment.
- Bookkeeping – maintaining detailed financial records, including income and expenses, to ensure accurate accounting.
- Accounts payable – managing payments to vendors, suppliers, and other creditors.
- Revenue management – analyzing revenue streams and optimizing pricing strategies.
- Financial reporting – preparing regular financial reports and presenting them to senior management.
- Tax compliance – ensuring compliance with tax regulations and filing tax returns in a timely manner.
- Auditing – conducting periodic audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and detect any irregularities.
- Risk management – identifying and mitigating financial risks that may affect the establishment's profitability and reputation.
- Preparing asset, liability and capital account entries by analyzing account information
- Recommending financial actions and summarizing current financial status
- Collecting data, preparing balance sheet, and profit and loss statement
- Maintaining accounting control by preparing policies and procedures
- Maintaining financial security by following internal controls
- Preparing payment by verifying documentation and requesting disbursement
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Accountancy skills, ideally honed in a hospitality environment
- Experience in retail or restaurant accounting
- Bachelor degree in tax, accounting, and finance
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge about the data entry management
- Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
- Knowledge about MS office, excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management
- Quick learner with a positive attitude
- Committed and reliable
- Relate to immediate team members to ensure that time, quality and other set standards are achieved
