Job Summary
We are an established general trading company that has recently opened an import office in Ghana, sourcing high-quality, competitively priced new clothing from our factories in India and Bangladesh. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Wholesale Clothing Specialist grow our market share in Accra and surrounding regions. This is a high-potential role for an individual who is deeply embedded in the local clothing wholesale markets (e.g., Makola, Kaneshie). The successful candidate will have an established network of buyers and a proven track record of converting leads into high-volume sales.

Job Description/Requirements
- Aggressively drive sales of imported new clothing products to larger wholesale traders and regional distributors across the Accra market.
- Leverage a strong, existing database of active buyers and wholesalers to generate immediate sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain exceptional, long-term relationships with wholesale clients to ensure repeat business and volume orders.
- Conduct regular market visits to showcase product samples and secure immediate sales commitments.
- Act as the company's eyes and ears on the ground, consistently collecting and reporting on market feedback regarding pricing, quality, and competitor activities.
- Provide the Managing Director with timely, detailed information to help shape future import strategies and product offerings.
- Oversee and manage client accounts, including setting and discussing sales terms.
- Proactively manage and collect payments from clients, ensuring terms are adhered to and minimizing outstanding debts.
- Maintain accurate sales records, transaction reports, and payment logs.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our product lines (good quality new clothing) and effectively communicate the value proposition, emphasizing competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of successful, direct sales experience specifically within the various clothing wholesale markets around Accra (e.g.,Makola).
- Network: Must possess a strong, established database and proven relationships with large wholesale traders and regional distributors in the apparel sector.
- Results-Driven Compensation: Highly motivated by an unlimited commission structure and focused on achieving high sales volumes.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required; multiple local languages (e.g., Twi, Ga, Hausa) are strongly preferred for effective market engagement.
- Highly confident, persistent, and resilient in a competitive sales environment.
- Demonstrable integrity, especially when handling cash and managing client accounts.
- High level of personal organization to manage multiple client relationships and payment cycles.
- Structure: Travel Expenses + Unlimited Commission
- Earnings Potential: This is a commission-only role with no cap on earnings. An experienced salesperson can earn well in excess of GHC 30,000 per month.
Hours: Flexible, results-driven (Monday – Saturday focus)
Location: Accra, Ghana (Field-based, focused on market sales)
