Job summary
The Officer is responsible for promoting and delivering microfinance products and services to clients, primarily low-income individuals, small business owners, and rural communities. The role focuses on client acquisition, loan processing, repayment monitoring, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure portfolio quality and financial inclusion

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for formation and training of groups members on financial literacy.
- Prospect for loan customers and undertake loan recovery exercise.
- To prepare all microfinance loan applications to the Branch Manager.
- Submit monthly returns and Operational report for consolidation by the Microfinance Manager.
- Conduct market survey and facilitate entry to potential communities to promote microfinance development.
- Ensure proper loan appraisal, disbursement and monitoring.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by Branch Manager or any Senior Management Member
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of HND in Business related field.
- Must have knowledge in community dynamics.
- Honesty, high sense of integrity and customer oriented.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Self-motivated, analytical and attentive to details.
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication skills, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Must have good Group formation and management skills.
- Must be able to ride motor bike and holds a valid license.
