Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our fast-paced and innovative team. As a Mid to Senior level professional with a strong technical background, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our products. Your ability to bridge the gap between technical development and business objectives, coupled with exceptional communication skills, will be instrumental in driving our product roadmap and delivering outstanding solutions to our clients.

Job Description/Requirements

A bit about you 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).

  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, ideally at the mid to senior level.

  • Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of software development processes and technologies.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing successful product roadmaps.

  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is preferred.

About your role at Ready 

  • Product Vision and Strategy:

    • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and market demands for the products that you own. 

    • Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize product initiatives and ensure they contribute to the company's overall growth.

  • Technical Acumen:

    • Leverage your technical background to deeply understand the complexities of our products, including architecture, development processes, and technical constraints.

    • Engage with development teams to evaluate technical feasibility and trade-offs for proposed product features.

  • Product Roadmap:

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key milestones, timelines, and dependencies.

    • Continuously assess and adjust the roadmap to adapt to changing market conditions and customer feedback.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful product development and launch for the specific products you will own. 

    • Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, effectively translating business needs into technical requirements.

  • Feature Definition and Prioritization:

    • Define clear and detailed product requirements, including user stories, use cases, and technical specifications.

    • Prioritize feature development based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.

  • Communication Excellence:

    • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

    • Foster a culture of effective communication within the product team and across the organization.

  • User-Centric Approach:

    • Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that user needs and feedback drive product decisions.

    • Conduct user research and gather insights to inform product enhancements.

  • Release Management:

    • Oversee the release process, coordinating with development and quality assurance teams to ensure successful product launches.

    • Monitor post-launch performance and gather feedback for iterative improvements.

  • Market Analysis:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.

    • Use market analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.

  • Customer Engagement:

    • Engage directly with key/tier 1 customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for product improvements.

    • Build strong customer relationships to enhance our understanding of their evolving needs.
