Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• Design mechanical components, systems, and equipment using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Develop technical designs, models, and prototypes.
• Analyze design specifications and recommend improvements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations for new or modified designs.

 Engineering Analysis & Calculations

• Perform detailed mechanical calculations, stress analysis, and simulations.
• Evaluate materials, tolerances, and structural integrity.
• Ensure designs meet performance requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop testing procedures and conduct performance tests on mechanical systems.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with engineering standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).

Project Management & Coordination

• Manage engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, electrical engineers, procurement, and safety departments.
• Prepare project timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities when required.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose mechanical failures and devise effective solutions.
• Provide technical support to maintenance teams and operations personnel.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare engineering drawings, technical documentation, manuals, and reports.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes, test results, and project milestones.
• Ensure documentation complies with internal and external standards.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all mechanical systems adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend safety improvements.
• Participate in safety audits and compliance reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, preferably familiar with at least one of the following: 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledgeable in Uyumsoft ERP software.
• Strong technical drawing skills with the ability to read and create technical plans.
• Creative, solution-oriented, and capable of analytical thinking.
• Strong in time management and planning, able to complete projects within deadlines and with high quality.
• Energetic, dynamic, eager to learn, and team-oriented.
• Proficient in English and French, capable of understanding and solving problems through technical documentation.
