Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure Setup, install and configure
- Routers (wireless and service router)
- Switches (PoE and non-PoE)
- Wireless Access Point (Indoor and outdoor APx)
- Network storage systems (NAS and SAN Boxes)
- Structured Cabling and Network cabling (CAT5/6)
- Terminate and install patched panels and cords, faceplate and keystone
- Point to Point (PTP) Radios and Point to Multi-Point (PTMP) Radios
- Mount or assemble Network Cabinet (wall mount and floor standing)
- Network Security
- UTM Firewalls
- Antivirus and endpoint security
- Network Server
- Design and implement a Server Infrastructure
- Install and configure Windows Server 2008 & 2012
- Configure Advanced Windows Server 2008 & 2012 services
- IP Telephony (Voice Over IP)
- Install and Setup
- Voice Gateways (FXO and FXS)
- IP PBX (FXO, GSM and PRI interfaces)
- IP Phones (SIP Phones with LCD Display and Video SIP Phone)
- IP Surveillance
- Step up and configure
- Cameras (Dome, PTZ, Box and Cloud)
- PoE Switches (8-48 ports, 10/100 & 100/1000Mbps)
- Network Video Recorder (NVR)
Qualification and Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND or bachelor’s degree / its equivalent in related field preferred
- At least 5 years of relevant IT experience in a previous role
- Experience with helpdesk or IT support
- Experience working with network and server management support
- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades
- Familiarity with any of the following: Cisco products, Network Monitoring Tools
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Graphic/web designing will be a plus
- Also, the ability to drive and having a driver’s license will be an advantage
- Work Location and Physical Demands
- Primary Work Location: Works is performed in both interior/Exterior work environment, but at times may be exposed to dirty or dusty environments
- Must be able to lift (75lbs), carrying (25lbs) pushing (50lbs), pulling (50lbs)
- Ability to climb a ladder/stairs and maintain balance; Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching
- Must be able to perform physically demanding jobs such as chiseling, cutting, laying of pipes, running of cable etc
- The work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks.
