<p>A Reputable company is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer within Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, secure, and maintain IT infrastructure in a manner that ensures high system availability, cybersecurity resilience, operational efficiency, and compliance with Ghanaian and international legal and regulatory requirements and also ensure that all infrastructure systems support core businesses and customer operations while complying with: • Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) • Regulatory guidance issued by the Data Protection Commission • Industry specific technology compliance requirements</p>

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Architecture &; Deployment
- Design and implement secure LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall systems.
- Deploy and manage physical, virtual, and cloud servers.
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and system migrations.
- Ensure redundancy, failover mechanisms, and high availability.
Systems & Network Administration
- Administer Oracle, Windows and Linux and other server environments.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, email systems, and access controls.
- Monitor system performance and network stability.
- Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation.
Cloud & Virtualization Management
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle Virtualization etc).
- Maintain and optimize cloud environments (Oracle, AWS, Azure).
- Monitor cloud cost efficiency and resource utilization.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Implement cybersecurity best practices and access controls.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
- Monitor security logs and respond to incidents.
- Ensure endpoint protection and firewall configurations are maintained.
Data Protection & Regulatory Compliance
- Implement technical safeguards to protect employee and client and stakeholder’s data.
- Support organizational compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
- Maintain confidentiality of electronic employee, client and stakeholder’s records.
- Support audit and inspection processes where required.
- Ensure proper data retention and disposal procedures.
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Design and maintain backup systems.
- Conduct periodic disaster recovery testing.
- Maintain documented Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
- Ensure recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) are met.
Vendor, Asset & SLA Management
- Manage infrastructure vendors and service providers.
- Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Maintain IT asset register.
- Support procurement evaluation and technical due diligence.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain updated network diagrams and infrastructure documentation.
- Develop and update IT SOPs.
- Provide monthly infrastructure performance and risk reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Professional Certifications (Preferred)
- Oracle Certification
- Microsoft Certified (Azure / Windows Server)
- AWS Certification
- CCNA / CCNP
- CompTIA Security+
- ITIL Certification
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in Enterprise IT infrastructure management.
- Experience in regulated or multi-branch environments is an advantage.

Working Conditions
- Standard working hours in accordance with the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651).
- May require after-hours support during critical incidents.
- Subject to periodic IT and regulatory audits.
Confidentiality & Ethics Clause
- The Infrastructure Engineer shall maintain strict confidentiality of all company, employee, and client data and shall comply with internal Information Security Policies and applicable Ghanaian data protection regulations.
- Breach of confidentiality may result in disciplinary action in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
Salary: GHS5,400 - GHS6,000
