Job summary
A welder/fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining metal parts using welding equipment and fabrication tools. The role involves reading technical drawings, preparing materials, and ensuring finished products meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Welding of machinery
- Repairs of machinery
- Liaising with the maintenance team in assembling machines and equipment’s
- Report machinery malfunctioning to maintenance manager
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements
- Cut, bend, and shape metal using tools such as grinders, saws, and press machines
- Perform welding using techniques like MIG, TIG, or arc welding
- Assemble and fit metal components to required specifications
- Inspect welds and fabricated parts for accuracy, strength, and defects
- Repair damaged metal structures and equipment
- Maintain tools and welding equipment in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
- Measure and mark materials for cutting and assembly
- Work with other team members to complete projects on time
Requirements
- Experience with the repairs of Palm kernel oil mill machinery will be an added advantage
- 2-5 years experience
Salary: 1500ghs -2500ghs Gross
Location: Akim Abenase Near Akim Oda, Eastern Region
