Job summary
Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing construction projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. The role involves ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved specifications and quality standards. The Civil Engineer also coordinates with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for civil works.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, surveys, and feasibility studies.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with Ghanaian building codes, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
- Provide solutions to engineering challenges and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or related field.
- Professional certification or membership (e.g., GhIE) is an advantage
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in construction, mining, or infrastructure projects.

- Strong knowledge of engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
