Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming
- Mix and match paint colors accurately using paint systems
- Apply paint, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and equipment
- Ensure smooth, even coatings with no defects
- Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups as needed
- Maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment
- Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Work with panel beaters and workshop staff equirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a car sprayer or automotive painter
- Knowledge of paint products and spraying techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good time management and reliability
Qualifications:
- Relevant automotive refinishing certification preferred
- Minimum required experience depending on role level
Working Conditions
- Workshop or body shop environment
- Exposure to paints and solvents with PPE provided
- Standing for extended periods
