Senior/Principal Product Designer (Respond Team)

Things you will do: 

• Your mission will be to be part of a cross-functional product team and improve existing features or add new capabilities to help our customers get their jobs done better. 

• This role is specifically for our ‘Respond’ experience and is critical in maintaining Tyepform's claim of being the “Gold Standard” of online interactions through engaging, conversational and frictionless experiences

• Conduct thorough research to effectively amplify the voice of Typeform’s user base, ensuring their needs and feedback are accurately represented. Insights guide us in shaping our product, as we find innovative and user-centric solutions that cater to their evolving requirements

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to stimulate ideation, encouraging the open exchange of diverse perspectives and creative insights. Actively engage in the process of nurturing and refining these ideas, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives 

• Actively promote and endorse the use of our established design system, adhering to industry standards and incorporating proven design patterns

• Cultivate a culture of deep collaboration within the product design team and across the wider design organisation, fostering an inclusive environment that embraces diverse perspectives and skill sets

What you already bring to the table:

• 4+/8+ years of industry experience in digital product design (depending on seniority)

• You find and create elegant but practical solutions to design challenges

• You have a broad range of skills ranging from research, UX and UI/visual design. Even better/nice-to-have hands on experience in Animation (specifically for the web) and/or Front-End Development

• You're energised by hands-on work—sketching concepts, defining flows, building prototypes, or polishing final designs. Can set up frameworks and make strategies come to life.

• You're creative and collaborative. You love wrestling with problems and quickly and effectively creating a range of engaging, easy-to-use, and technically-practical ideas.

• You can demonstrate a portfolio of work that pushes boundaries and take risks.

• You thrive in an environment where we value the ability to learn, grow, and improve independently.

• You've worked on SaaS Platforms, Complex applications or enterprise software

• You have experience working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and can lead a team to create accessible experiences.

• You are passionate about user research and usability testing, and you look for ways to improve your team's abilities in these areas. Understanding the needs of being pragmatic in a fast-moving organisation.
