Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Daily outbound follow-up phone calls with current applicants to obtain required documentation. Understand and be able to clearly and completely explain the application process, need for further requirements, and the circumstances of approval.
- Communicate with applicants regarding application status or quote changes in premium due to underwriting and offer alternative policy levels to retain sale.
- Support the initial review, requirements gathering, issuance, and mailing of applications.
- Process all types of regular applications. Understand and apply knowledge of life insurance concepts and requirements of life insurance membership, constitution, applications, and certificates.
- Handle questions or problems by skillful negotiation, offering workable alternatives, and promoting Member satisfaction.
- Coordinate with others across the organization to resolve and expedite problem application situations and respond to Member complaints or concerns.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of business development/sales experience within the insurance industry
- Associate's Degree or higher
