The Sales and Marketing Officer is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, promoting the company’s products or services, strengthening customer relationships, and executing marketing strategies. This role involves market research, lead generation, sales presentations, digital and traditional marketing activities, and coordination with internal teams to achieve revenue and brand visibility targets.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities to generate leads and increase revenue.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, quotations, and sales contracts.
- Follow up on leads, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key accounts.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain a detailed and updated sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Visit clients and conduct fieldwork as required.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends.
- Contribute to digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Create content for promotional materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media posts.
- Coordinate marketing events, product launches, exhibitions, and brand activations.
- Measure and report on campaign performance to recommend improvements.
Customer Relationship Management
- Provide excellent customer service and support before, during, and after sales.
- Address client inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Strengthen customer loyalty by maintaining regular communication with clients.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the marketing team, operations, and product departments to align strategies.
- Provide feedback from customers and the market to support product improvements.
- Participate in weekly sales and marketing meetings and contribute insights.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Track key sales and marketing metrics.
- Document customer interactions, campaign results, and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and close deals effectively.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools (social media, email marketing, SEO) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for client visits, events, and market activities.
