Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Evaluate individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify new client acquisition opportunities and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the negotiation and closing of major deals and contracts.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and market insights.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to management.
- Recommend and implement improvements to optimize sales processes and productivity.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals.
- Coordinate promotional activities, campaigns, and product launches to support sales objectives.
- Provide input on pricing, marketing strategies, and customer experience initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- 3–5 years of proven experience in sales or business development, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and market analysis.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve results.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
