Job Description/Requirements
We are a early stage startup looking for a Senior React.js/TypeScript developer to join an existing team at one of our clients - an up and coming MedTech company. The initial contract is 1 month, with a possibility for renewals.
Responsibilities
- Work with the team to discover, test, build and ship the next generation of new features.
- Bring improvements to the platform by collaborating with designer to polish existing features.
- Work closely with other engineers by challenging ideas, brainstorming, and having discussions.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Identify and communicate software engineering best practices.
- Respond to user queries / requests / feedback and incorporate them.
- Participate in user need-finding activities (like interviewing), team brainstorming and creative sessions. We want you to actively involve yourself early in product discovery.
- Full responsibility for your components in a DevOps modality.
Qualifications
- You have full-stack engineering experience in React JS and TypeScript to a senior level (6 years +)
- You have 6+ full years of experience in developing web-based user interfaces.
- Additional experience with Python, PostgreSQL, Flask, Jest/Cypress Hasura/GraphQL are an added advantage.
- You’re used to version control, code reviews, and agile methodologies.
- You have experience with product engineering such as building web apps full stack, integrating with relevant APIs and services.
