Job summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive identification of business opportunities, effective sales execution, and strong relationship management. The role involves leading direct sales activities, managing sales representatives, conducting market intelligence, and ensuring timely recovery of receivables while meeting established sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, up-sell, and cross-sell new and existing business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and manage Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs) to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Commercial, Finance, and Back Office units, to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in line with company objectives.
- Lead and execute effective recovery activities, including monitoring outstanding payments, ensuring timely collections, and minimizing bad debt exposure.
- Prepare and provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates to management.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to support retention, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Proven experience managing sales teams or Direct Sales Representatives.
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and recovery processes.
