We are a lean, NIC‑licensed Technical Service Provider (TSP) seeking a hands‑on Principal Officer / CEO with strong B2B sales capabilities. This is a practical, execution‑focused leadership role, focused primarily on closing partnerships, driving B2B revenue, and overseeing regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for a driven and experienced insurance professional looking to step into their first leadership role.

Responsibilities
- Drive B2B partnerships and revenue growth - Lead the identification, negotiation, and closing of strategic partnerships with insurers, telcos, MFIs, banks, corporates, and other players to significantly increase health and insurance services sales and premium volumes.
- Own and execute the full sales cycle for key accounts - Personally manage high-value B2B relationships from prospecting through to contract signing, onboarding, and ongoing performance management, ensuring consistent achievement of monthly and annual revenue and partnership targets.
- Serve as full-time Principal Officer and ensure regulatory compliance - Act as the designated Principal Officer / Chief Executive Officer under NIC regulations: maintain full compliance with the Insurance Act and TSP Guidelines, and prepare and submit all required NIC returns, risk reports, and governance documentation on time along with the Compliance team.
- Provide leadership to the Board and oversee company performance - Prepare and present clear quarterly business performance, financial, compliance, and risk updates; ensure the small team delivers operational excellence in distribution and partner service.
- Identify new opportunities and support sustainable growth - Continuously innovate business model, expanding to new digital channels, proposing product enhancements, and market expansion possibilities within Ghana’s microinsurance and healthcare space; collaborate with partner insurers and internal teams to turn opportunities into executable plans.
The Candidate
- Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), UK or Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute Ghana (ACIIG) is MANDATORY.
- Minimum 5+ years relevant professional experience in the insurance industry, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Proven success in closing and managing B2B partnerships (telcos, MFIs, banks, corporates preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of NIC regulations, insurance and healthcare landscape in Ghana.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Ghanaian citizen or resident.
- We are NOT seeking candidates with 10+ years of experience or current CEO/Principal Officer roles at large brokers, insurers, or multinational groups.
- Entrepreneurial and willing to be the First employee of the company.
Technical skills
- Strong B2B sales and partnership development capability
- Ability to build revenue pipelines and meet commercial targets
- Strong understanding of NIC regulatory requirements for TSPs
- Experience managing compliance documentation and regulatory submissions
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data, performance metrics, and partner reports
- Ability to structure commercial proposals and partnership agreements
- Familiarity with insurance technology, digital distribution, or fintech tools
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
