Job summary
The International Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the presence of ASBIS across selected English-speaking African Countries. Based in Ghana, the role will position the country as a regional distribution hub by identifying new market opportunities, developing and managing distributor and reseller networks, and coordinating cross-border sales and operations. The successful candidate will ensure effective market entry, build strong commercial partnerships, and deliver sustainable revenue growth across the assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
Market Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted African markets (including Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau, Cameroune, Capo Verde, Ethiopia, Gambia, Eritrea and Djibouti)
- Conduct market research to assess demand, competition, and pricing dynamics
- Support market entry strategies and expansion plans
Channel Development
- Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors, resellers, and retail partners
- Build and maintain strong, reliable sales networks in each assigned country
- Develop partner engagement and performance plans
Sales Execution
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Drive sales across key product categories, including smartphones, laptops, and accessories
- Implement sales initiatives and promotional activities to grow market share
Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely product delivery
- Work closely with finance teams on credit management, payments, and collections
- Support smooth cross-border sales operations from Ghana
Partner Support & Enablement
- Train and support partners on products, pricing, and sales strategies
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns and in-market promotions
- Ensure high levels of partner engagement and satisfaction
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
- Provide insights to support business decision-making and strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in sales (IT, electronics, telecoms, or FMCG).
- Experience managing multiple countries or regions is an advantage.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and channel management skills.
- Good understanding of cross-border trade and distribution.
- Knowledge of CRM
- Fluent in English
