The Sales & Marketing Officer is primarily responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategies to attract investors and funding sources for the company’s microcredit operations. The role also involves promoting the brand, building strong stakeholder relationships, and increasing the company’s visibility and trust in the financial market.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Source for funds from individuals, corporate bodies, investment groups, and donor organizations to support microcredit operations
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company’s financial products and funding opportunities.
- Create compelling presentations and pitch materials for potential investors and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, funders, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with funding needs.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and meetings to generate leads and increase visibility.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of fundraising and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in all communications and partnerships.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, fundraising, or business development – preferably within financial services or microfinance.
- Proven ability to source and secure funding or investment.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Results-oriented with a passion for building business relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CRM tools.
- Knowledge of the financial and microcredit industry in Ghana is an added advantage.
