Job Summary
As a Sales Executive in the shipping industry, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting shipping and logistics services. You will act as the key point of contact between the company and its clients, ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets. Your role will involve market research, strategic planning, contract negotiation, and close collaboration with operations and customer service teams to deliver tailored transport solutions. The company's objective is to recruit a sales representative who is already established in the transit and logistics sector, preferably with their own client portfolio.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide quotes, negotiate rates and close deals with customers.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure shipments are carried out correctly.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors and market developments.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts and other relevant documentation.
Candidate profile:
- Male/Female
- Level of education: University Graduate
- Proven sales experience in the shipping or logistics industry (advantageous)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and achieve sales targets
- Knowledge of logistics and shipping operations (preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to undergo ongoing training
- Driving license
- Speak English
- 3-4 years experience
