Job Summary

Reporting to the Enterprise Sale Lead, as the SDR Team Lead at VEED, you will be a key member of our Enterprise Sales Team, responsible for driving revenue growth through effective management and motivation of the sales development team. Your primary focus will be on implementing strategies to increase lead generation, nurture leads, and improve the customer acquisition from our Sales Development team. You will work closely with the marketing, leadership and product teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Sales Leadership: Manage and provide strategic direction, mentorship, and motivation to the inside sales team to achieve and exceed targets. Lead by example as a player coach and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales outreach strategies to maximize revenue growth. Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships to drive sales expansion. 
  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously analyse the sales development process, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and conversion rates. Implement and maintain sales tools and technologies to streamline operations. 
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage the outbound sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and revenue predictability. Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and monitor metrics regularly and manage team and individual performance accordingly. 
  • Sales Training and Development: Develop and conduct training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the inside sales team. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance. Facilitate performance management and development of the team. 
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Utilize market intelligence to inform product development and outbound sales strategies. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, field sales, and product, to align sales efforts with overall business goals. Provide feedback and insights to improve the product and enhance the customer experience. 
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards for the executive team, highlighting key performance indicators, sales trends, and areas for improvement.

About You:

  • Experience: Proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B SaaS sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales leadership role. Experience managing high-performing BDR/SDR/ADR teams is a plus. 
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities and a passion for developing sales talent and driving results. 
  • Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of inside sales methodologies, processes, and best practices. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present concepts to a variety of stakeholders, inside and outside VEED. Ability to effectively communicate to coach and develop the team and individuals.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-informed decision-making. 
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to set and achieve ambitious sales targets and deliver consistent results. Ability to lead and inspire the team to deliver results and optimize performance.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, with the ability to adapt to changes and handle multiple priorities.
  • Passion for Technology: A genuine interest in the tech industry, video editing, and online collaboration tools.
  • Passion for People: Experienced people manager with demonstrated ability to coach, inspire and lead a team in a positive and inclusive manner
