Retail Operations Support

Key Job Responsibilities

• Stock shelves as and when needed
• Ensure that shop floors are clean always
• Clean products on the shelves at all times
• Ensure correct and proper price tagging of pharma and non-pharma on the shelves.
• Assist customers in the purchase of pharma and non-pharma products.
• Check and monitor products to ensure products do not expire on shelve
• Assist customers in the purchase of pharma and non-pharma products.
• Participate in weekly requisition of low stocked products in designated retail outlet.
• Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

Key Performance Indicators

• Correct and proper price tagging of products at all times
• No empty shelves
• Neat shop floor and product always
• No expired products on shelves at all times
• 100% compliance to policies as well as internal processes

Relationships

• External: Customers visiting the designated retail outlet.
• Internal: Colleague Retail Sales Assistants, Pharmacists in designated retail outlet and Retail Sales Supervisor

Qualification

• Educational: West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) with not less than C6 in core subjects.
• Professional: Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) Certificate.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of medicines and the dosages required as prescribed or required.

Work Experience

• Must have minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position.

• Ability to educate and provide customers with information about common ailments and products.

• Limited to set standards approved by management and or as permitted by the Pharmacist.

Working Conditions

• Air-conditioned retail outlets posing minimal risk to one’s health.
• May require long working hours and occasional work on weekends and or holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Manually offloading products from Van to shop and vice versa.
