Role Description The Relationship Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Swedru, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients. This role involves building strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their financial needs, and recommending suitable loan and investment products. The Relationship Officer will conduct client meetings, follow up on leads, process loan applications, and ensure timely communication throughout the customer lifecycle. Daily tasks include providing high-quality customer service, monitoring client accounts, collaborating with finance and operations teams to ensure smooth transactions, and supporting sales targets through proactive outreach and networking.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills to develop, maintain, and deepen client partnerships.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge to understand loan products, risk assessment, and basic credit analysis.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present financial solutions clearly and engage diverse clients.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to identify opportunities, promote products, and meet or exceed portfolio growth targets.
- Candidates should have good organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Candidates should be proficient with basic office software and digital tools used for customer and portfolio management.
- A diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field, and prior experience in microfinance or banking, are advantageous.
