Production Manager (Elmina)

Responsibilities:

• Preparing production schedules or plans that ensure the most efficient, effective and, economical methods of carrying out drilling and blasting.
• Ensuring regular and routine maintenance schedules are adhered to.
• Creating a maintenance culture where usage of equipment conforms to the requirements specified by the manufacturer.
• Developing performance indicators against which staff performance can be measured.
• Developing and implementing a quality control system for monitoring product quality.
• Performing periodic examination of aggregates to ensure consistency of product quality.
• Ensuring availability of necessary spare of machines and other resources for uninterrupted production.
• Ensuring frequently used raw materials are stocked at any point in time.
• Collaborating with GN HR to ensure that the quarry is appropriately staffed at all times.
• Assist management in developing training programs for quarry staff.
• Prepare yearly, quarterly and monthly budgets for approval by management.
• Provide schedule of machine replacement times

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of an HND in a relevant field.
• Certificate in Health& Safety.
• Holder of Blasting Certificate.
• Minimum of 10 years working experience.

• Must be able to work under pressure
