Job Summary

Arend Pharmacy Ltd is seeking energetic and results-driven Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives to promote and sell pharmaceutical products and medical supplies across assigned territories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with hospitals, OTCM (Over-the-Counter Medicine) shops, and retail pharmacies to drive sales and achieve set targets.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Objectives:

  • Drive sales and increase revenue through the promotion of pharmaceutical products.
  • Secure new customer accounts by planning and executing daily outreach activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and retail outlets.
  • Expand customer base across assigned districts and regions.
  • Submit accurate and timely orders and sales reports.
  • Provide regular feedback and reports on territory performance and market trends.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with prospective clients, including OTCM outlets and retail pharmacies.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Record all client interactions, meetings, and sales activity using internal systems or software.
  • Provide timely updates to management through daily call logs, weekly plans, and monthly territory performance reports.
  • Organize and manage daily travel routes efficiently to maximize coverage.
  • Submit orders with reference to the company price lists and product specifications.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Strong knowledge of the regions, districts, and electoral areas of Ghana.
  • Proficient in Google Maps for location tracking and place management.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Money (MoMo) Payment systems.
  • Experience using WhatsApp Business and online shopping platforms for client engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer relationship skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.

Qualifications: A qualification in Dispensary Technician, Medical Counter Assistant (MCA), or an equivalent certification in a relevant health sciences discipline.
