Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee, and execute fumigation processes.
- Ensure proper selection, preparation, and application of fumigants based on pest type, environment, and safety considerations.
- Conduct pre-fumigation assessments, including inspections for leaks, structural integrity, and pest infestations.
- Lead and guide fumigation teams during operations, delegating tasks as needed.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on fumigation techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues arising during fumigation activities.
- Inspect, set up, and operate fumigation equipment, ensuring it functions properly.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on fumigation tools and machinery.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the team.
- Implement and enforce strict safety measures to protect workers, clients, and the environment.
- Ensure compliance with local and international fumigation regulations, such as the safe handling and disposal of fumigants.
- Monitor air quality and gas levels during and after fumigation using detection equipment.
- Prepare detailed records of fumigation activities, including chemical usage, environmental conditions, and results.
- Submit reports on completed projects and any incidents that occurred during fumigation.
Requirements And Qualifications:
- Diploma Bachelor's Degree in Operations and pest Management.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in pest management and property management
- Knowledge of pesticides, pest identification, pest control methods,safety proceduresand environmental regulations.
- Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety and chemical handling procedures.
- Biology, Chemical Engineering, environmental Health, safety Management and other related fields.
- Experience in team supervision, client management ,scheduling, reporting and quality control.
