Job Description
We are hiring a Mobile App Developer Intern to join our team full-time, on-site. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in mobile app development who is looking to take the next step in their career, work on real-world projects, and grow within a collaborative, product-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and/or iOS using frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or native tools (Kotlin, Swift).
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to implement intuitive and high-performance user experiences.
- Consume RESTful APIs and handle local data storage and state management.
- Identify and resolve performance issues, crashes, and bugs across a range of devices.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one mobile development framework: Flutter, React Native, or native Android/iOS.
- Understanding of mobile UI design principles, user interactions, and responsive layouts.
- Familiarity with API integration and state management solutions (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Redux, etc.).
- Knowledge of mobile debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be based in Labadi, Osu, Teshie, Nungua, or nearby areas and available to work on-site full-time.
- Enthusiastic and self-driven with a strong desire to learn and improve.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)
- Experience with Firebase, push notifications, in-app messaging, or analytics.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with app deployment to the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Exposure to mobile testing tools and CI/CD pipelines.
