Job Description/Requirements
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and support IT infrastructure, application, and security projects.
- Implement ITIL-based ITSM tool for Help Desk Ticket & Change Management, IT Procurement, CMDB, Service Catalog, and asset tracking.
- Lead global IT infrastructure maintenance, including patching, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Enhance security and availability of IT systems through proactive monitoring and event management.
- Stay updated on industry trends in infrastructure, tools, applications, and cybersecurity.
- Assist with endpoint management and security solutions.
- Support and maintain infrastructure components such as Microsoft Office, Active Directory, VMware, cloud platforms, and monitoring systems.
- Oversee security and infrastructure maintenance tasks, including updates, optimizations, and automation.
- Drive automation of repetitive tasks for improved efficiency.
- Contribute to IT security standards and best practices.
- Implement data classification and protection strategies.
- Manage company policies related to IT operations, information security, and data privacy.
- Define secure development and testing strategies.
- Mentor and train IT staff to enhance their skills.
- Provide cross-training for coverage and support during absences or workload spikes.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years IT Management/Leadership experience.
- 2 years experience implementing, operating, auditing, and supporting company security compliance programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
- 3 years of Microsoft Office 365 experience, including designing, implementing, and supporting security compliance goals.
- Proficiency in Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, MS Teams, SharePoint, Endpoint management, Defender ATP, Data Sensitivity Labels, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- 3 years hands-on experience in a Hybrid VMware environment with a focus on Azure.
- Windows 2016 and newer Server Administration and Active Directory/DNS/DHCP administration experience.
- Ability to administer, configure, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi environments.
- Experience providing technical evidence to Information Security Compliance Auditors.
- Linux/Unix administration experience.
- Exposure to and experience providing support within a software development house.
- Bash and Shell Scripting knowledge.
- Prior System Administrator experience.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, VMware, Azure Cloud, EC Council CEH/Security+, Linux, Cisco CCNA, and ITIL v4 would be advantageous.
