We seek Infrastructure Cloud Engineer Architect who have experience in delivering a VMA (Virtualization Migration Assessment) The expected outcome of the VMA is a high level design and a project scope for a production build and migration.
You will be in a team involved in the migration and management of the financial services platform of a client of ours. You must be able to quickly join a team of senior international Cloud professionals!
Your responsibilities will be:
- Perform discovery workshops with relevant stakeholders to understand where you’re going
- Analyze existing investments and infrastructure and gather requirements for your future target platform
- Identify virtualization use case(s) in preparation for the pilot.
- Understand Day 2 operations including, but not limited to, automation and configuration management, disaster recovery, and monitoring
- Identify current ways of working, skill sets, and organizational processes
- Understand security and compliance requirements
Your profile:
- Very strong knowledge of OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as a Infrastructure/Cloud Engineer.
- An extensive understanding of cloud architecture and other cloud services.
- Additional knowledge of DevOps tools, GitHub, Todo, Version control, static code testing etc, agile development strong advantage.
