Job Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Develop HVAC system designs, including load calculations, ductwork, and piping layouts.
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment and materials based on project requirements.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, local building codes, and environmental regulations.

Project Management & Execution

• Plan and oversee HVAC project installations from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.

System Performance & Optimization

• Evaluate HVAC system performance and suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Develop energy-efficient solutions to optimize heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC system issues.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Stay updated on advancements in HVAC technology and energy conservation.
• Maintain compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certification in HVAC design and project management is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC system design and project management.
• Proven expertise in commercial and industrial HVAC projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, load calculations, and energy efficiency strategies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC simulation software.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong project management and coordination abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
