Job summary
We are a fintech company specializing in payment processing, and we are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to support and strengthen our finance function. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will handle day-to-day finance operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and sound financial management across the business.

Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Handle bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the business
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and internal requirements
- Support cashflow planning, monitoring, and optimization
- Provide audit support and serve as a key liaison during internal and external audits
- Manage client and vendor relationships from a finance perspective
- Handle taxation matters, including filings, planning, and compliance
- Supervise bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Manage receivables and ensure healthy collections cycles
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Final-level candidate (or qualified) of ICA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a fintech company
- Strong working knowledge of applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Proven experience in payment processing or a related fintech environment
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
