Head of Risk Management
Job summary
The Head of Risk Management will lead the institution's enterprise-wide risk management function and ensure that material risks are identified, assessed, monitored, reported, and appropriately mitigated.

- Develop and maintain the institution's risk management framework
- Identify and assess credit, liquidity, operational, market, technology, fraud, and other material risks.
- Establish appropriate risk monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
- Review risk exposures and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor the effectiveness of internal risk controls.
- Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and relevant governance structures.
- Support departments in identifying and managing operational risks.
- Monitor emerging risks that may affect the institution's sustainability.
- Promote a strong risk awareness culture across the institution.
- Work with Internal Audit and Compliance to strengthen risk and control frameworks.
- Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional risk management qualifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in risk management, banking, or financial services.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of financial-sector risk management and internal controls.
- High ethical standards and unquestionable integrity.
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
