The Flexible Pipe Systems business supply specialist unbonded flexible subsea flowline and riser technology and associated services is an exciting time to join our department in a technical role within flexible pipe systems.Partner with the bestInspect, review, improve and develop technical solutions across complex Flexible Pipe SystemsAs a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for: Working in accordance with Industry Standards and offshore installation practices, the company’s preventative and planned maintenance and certification programsCollaborating proactively and positively within the group including suppliers, subcontractors and clients; ensuring equipment systems are in working order and compliantActing as company representative at offsite locations, on and offshore as required and to the company’s policies and proceduresEnsuring that equipment and all relevant systems are in complete working order and compliant and stores and workshops are satisfactoryCommunicating all equipment maintenance, repair and operational activities to relevant parties and provide logistical and documentary evidence in support of thisEnsuring equipment, stores and workshops are in a satisfactory condition necessary to carry out the operations efficiently and safelyParticipating in Tool Box Talks and attending HSE meetings and operating equipment in accordance with the standard operating and HSE procedures Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have a minimum of a National Diploma in a engineering.Be in possession of a valid BOSIET and valid OGUK MedicalHave experience of working in an offshore environment involving flexible pipe or subsea constructionHave a good understanding of operations required to move heavy equipment on and offshoreBe comfortable for short notice travel and varying lengths of stay, in a global and exciting roleBe able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills, written and verbal, with multi-disciplinary environmentBe technically minded, solution oriented with a track record for complex problem solvingBe competent in reading, interpreting and executing instructions, safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals (written, oral, diagram) Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
