Role Description The Data Entry Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra. This role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company systems and databases, ensuring information is complete, consistent, and up to date. Day-to-day tasks include verifying source documents, correcting data errors, organizing records, and retrieving information as needed by various departments. The Data Entry Assistant collaborates with administrative and customer-facing teams, provides basic support in preparing reports, and follows established data security and confidentiality guidelines. The role also involves managing digital and physical filing, responding to internal information requests, and supporting general office operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong Administrative Assistance skills, including organizing records, managing files, and supporting office workflows.
  • Solid Computer Literacy skills, with proficiency in data entry software, spreadsheets, and standard office applications.
  • Clear Communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and responding to information requests accurately and professionally.
  • Fast and accurate Typing skills, with attention to detail and a focus on minimizing errors.
  • Customer Service skills to provide courteous and efficient support to internal and external stakeholders when handling data-related queries.
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality in handling company information.
  • Ability to work on-site in Accra, manage repetitive tasks, and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
  • Previous experience in data entry, administration, or a similar role is an advantage; a relevant diploma or certificate is preferred.
