Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced cloud architecture to design our modular infrastructure and data center, serving HPC and advanced ML applications. You’ll work closely with our hardware and electronics teams to build our distributed computing infrastructure, guiding our team to choose most suitable vendors and partners as well as closely working with them to execute our build-outs plans.

Job Description/Requirements
Areas of contribution:
- Design and architect our infrastructure and data center, from rack and stack level to application bringup, for our modular system targeting high-performance-computing and advanced machine learning applications.
- Build a distributed computing infrastructure to support complex and large scale distributed model training
- Set up DevCloud / Cloud from the ground up
- Work across our hardware and silicon teams, bringing the teams together on the big picture of our cloud infrastructure
- Work directly with our external partners and vendors for our infrastructure build-outs
Requirements (necessary skills for this role):
- Demonstrated experience and strong foundations in distributed computing and storage
- Demonstrated experience in cloud hardware infrastructure - AMD and Intel servers, network, firewalls, switches, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in high performance computing, deep learning, and/or accelerated computing domains
- Demonstrated experience in system software engineering experience on large-scale production systems
- Demonstrated experience in architecting high performance computing infrastructure at scale
- Experience in cloud software infrastructure - provisioning flow, DNS, LDAP, NTP, load balancing, monitoring, logging, etc
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex designs and requirements to peers, customers, and vendors
- Experience in Cloud virtualization - OpenStack and/or Kubernetes
- Strong Linux experience
- BS/MS degree in computer science or in relevant fields
