Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Civil Engineer to support the development and maintenance of infrastructure within our agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will lead civil and structural works for facilities such as irrigation systems, farm roads, storage units, greenhouses, and processing plants. This role is crucial for ensuring the sustainability, safety, and efficiency of our physical assets and operations.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design & Development
- Design and supervise construction of agricultural infrastructure including warehouses, silos, irrigation channels, water reservoirs, access roads, and processing units.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, BOQs, and specifications.
- Conduct topographic and soil assessments to inform project planning.
Project Management
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for all civil works.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Site Supervision & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure work quality.
- Implement and monitor environmental and safety standards on construction sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
Maintenance & Sustainability
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules for infrastructure and utilities.
- Recommend and implement improvements to boost durability and climate resilience.
- Support sustainable land-use planning and soil conservation practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree or specialization in Agricultural or Environmental Engineering is a plus).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure development, preferably in the agriculture or rural development sector.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design and drafting tools.
- Solid knowledge of building codes, environmental regulations, and HSE standards.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work in rural or semi-rural areas and conduct field visits.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with irrigation system design, drainage solutions, and farm road engineering.
- Familiarity with green building standards and eco-friendly construction practices.
- Knowledge of local construction materials and supply chain management.
