Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop execution plans.
• Oversee site preparation, foundation work, drainage, roads, utilities, and core building phases.
• Ensure all civil engineering works comply with approved standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with site supervisors to monitor daily work progress.
• Review construction materials and test samples to ensure adherence to technical requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, work schedules, and cost estimates for civil components.
• Resolve engineering-related site issues and make recommendations for adjustments.
• Support procurement by specifying required civil materials and verifying deliveries.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Structural Engineers to ensure consistency of design and execution.
• Ensure site health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Membership or eligibility for membership with the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE) is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
• Knowledge of local building codes and construction best practices.
