Job summary
The Branch Operation officer reports to and assists the Branch Manager by supervising the activities of personnel in the Bank and ensuring excellent customer service delivery

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Support the Branch Manager in implementing operational policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal guidelines.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints and operational issues.
- Oversee cash management, teller operations, and transaction accuracy within the branch.
- Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and timely submission of operational reports.
- Monitor adherence to risk management, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance supervision.
- Ensure effective use of the core banking system and other banking applications.
- Support branch targets by promoting bank products and services when required.
Qualification Required:
- At least a first Degree or HND in Banking,
- Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of two(2) years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a rural & community Bank.
- Ability to work with less supervision and to pay attention to details.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A good working knowledge in T24 Core Banking application.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
