Key Responsibilities
- Market and sell the Company’s insurance products
- Supervise, direct, coordinate and oversee the operations of the Branch, Agency Offices and Agents within the jurisdiction
- Supervise all underwriting and claims activities in the branch
- Ensure the achievement of set goals and yearly production targets
- Identify and develop marketing strategies based on knowledge of the Company’s objectives, market characteristics, cost and make up factors
- Submit strategies in line with the overall corporate objectives for the achievement of set targets
- Deliver marketing activities within established budget
- Establish and build business relationships with existing and potential clients in order to protect existing books of business
- Provide market intelligence information in a timely manner to enable the Company react to changes in the business
- Provide feedback to the Operations, Finance, Business Development, ICT Departments to ensure that quality service and underwriting standards are maintained to achieve client satisfaction
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or Social Science Degree.
- Minimum of Diploma in Professional Insurance Qualification (Dip CII)
- Additional certification in Leadership, entrepreneurship will be an advantage
- Minimum of 6 years relevant working experience in marketing, preferably in the insurance industry
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
