Job Summary
The AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. This role requires a strong understanding of core AWS services, architectural best practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud technology, possess strong problem- solving skills, and be eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design:
- Design and propose well-architected solutions on AWS that are secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, scalable, and cost-optimized.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Select appropriate AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, IAM) based on project requirements and architectural best practices.
Implementation and Deployment:
- Assist with the implementation and deployment of AWS cloud solutions, potentially utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Configure and troubleshoot AWS services to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain security best practices on AWS, including IAM policies, security groups, network ACLs, and encryption.
- Ensure solutions adhere to relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) where applicable.
Cost Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization within AWS environments and propose efficient solutions.
- Monitor AWS spending and utilize tools like AWS Cost Explorer.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor the performance and health of AWS resources using tools like AWS CloudWatch.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate effectively with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and runbooks.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and industry best practices.
- Actively pursue further AWS certifications and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification (current and valid).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least, 5 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing solutions on AWS.
- Solid understanding of core AWS services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, Security).
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
