Assistant Admin with Accounting Experience
Job summary
We are looking for a versatile and organized individual to join our front office team. This role requires a candidate who can manage the daily administrative flow of a vibrant school environment while accurately handling basic accounting and financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
- Administration: Manage the front desk, handle inquiries from parents/guardians, and maintain organized student and staff records.
- Fee Management: Oversee the collection of school fees, issue receipts, and maintain an up-to-date ledger of outstanding payments.
- Bookkeeping: Record daily expenses, manage petty cash, and prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records are kept in accordance with school policy and local Ghanaian tax regulations (e.g., GRA filings).
- Support: Assist in the procurement of school supplies and coordinate logistics for school events.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: HND or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in an administrative role, ideally within a school or educational setting will be an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or a School Management System)
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English; ability to communicate effectively and professionally with parents and staff.
- Integrity: High level of honesty and attention to detail regarding financial matters.
