Job summary
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Accountant to manage the finance function across multiple small businesses under one owner. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling bookkeeping, month-end reporting, reconciliations, audit support, and tax compliance with minimal supervision.

Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and bookkeeping
- Manage month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Liaise with external auditors and support audits
- Assist with VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, and statutory filings
- Improve financial processes and controls
- Ensure periodic bills and taxes are paid and filed.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and month-end processes
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar software
- ACCA,CIMA, ICAG (qualified or in progress) is an advantage not essential, and can be substituted with experience.
- Strong Excel and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and take ownership
- Must be ready to start immediately
- Must be a fully licensed driver with valid driver’s license.
Preferred: Lives in Spintex, Baatsona, Lashibi, Sakumono, Nungua and environs, within comfortable commuting distance of Lashibi.
