Job description

We are actively seeking highly creative and talented individuals for the role of Vlogger to join our YouTube channel, which has a substantial subscriber base of nearly 200,000. As a Vlogger, your primary responsibility will be to research and create engaging and newsworthy content related to current social, political, and entertainment stories in Ghana. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your storytelling abilities and connect with a wide audience while working remotely from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities:

Research and stay updated on current social, political, and entertainment stories in Ghana.

Create compelling and newsworthy content for the YouTube channel.

Craft engaging narratives and tell stories effectively through video format.

Conduct in-depth analysis and fact-checking to ensure accurate reporting.

Deliver high-quality and fluent presentations in either Twi or English, catering to the channel's target audience.

Collaborate with the team to develop innovative content ideas and strategies.

Stay informed about emerging trends, video production techniques, and social media best practices.

Maintain professionalism, adhere to ethical guidelines, and promote a positive brand image.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated creativity and the ability to develop unique content ideas.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell stories effectively.

Proficiency in either Twi or English, enabling you to fluently present content to the target audience.

Strong research skills to stay informed about current affairs and popular topics in Ghana.

Familiarity with social media platforms and content distribution strategies.

Passion for storytelling, vlogging, and engaging with a diverse audience.

Previous experience in vlogging, journalism, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
