Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, including digital marketing efforts, expanding market presence, generating leads, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, competitive environment. We undertake Importation of Formwork, Scaffolding and Plastic Pillars for sale and also Real Estate Projects.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop Sales Strategies:

  • Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to promote the company’s construction services, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, understand customer needs, and assess market trends.
  • Develop pricing strategies and sales plans that align with company goals and maximize profitability.
  • Set sales targets, track progress, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.


Lead Generation & Business Development:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new leads and business opportunities within the construction industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and government bodies.
  • Network and attend industry events, conferences to increase brand visibility and establish business partnerships.
  • Generate proposals and respond in a timely and professional manner.


Marketing & Brand Management:

 Develop Marketing Campaigns:

  • Create, implement, and manage marketing campaigns that promote the company’s services across digital platforms, print, and traditional media.
  • Develop content for marketing materials, including brochures, websites, social media, and advertisements, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and values.
  • Coordinate online and offline campaigns, ensuring that marketing efforts reach targeted segments within the construction industry.


Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct regular market research to analyze competitor activities, customer preferences, and market conditions.
  • Monitor industry trends and developments to anticipate market shifts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management based on market insights and competitor benchmarking.


Brand Awareness & Public Relations:

  • Strengthen the company’s brand presence and reputation in the market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, and influencers in the construction sector.
  • Manage public relations efforts, including press releases, media interviews, and company announcements.


Social Media Management:

  •  Manage and grow the company’s presence on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
  • Develop and implement content calendars, engaging posts, and paid social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor social media performance and analyze insights to optimize strategies for better reach and engagement.


Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Content Marketing:

  • Optimize website content to improve search engine ranking and organic traffic using SEO best practices.
  • Develop a content marketing strategy that includes blog posts, case studies, client success stories, and other content to enhance the company’s online visibility.
  • Regularly update the website with relevant content to attract potential clients and partners.


Email Marketing & Automation:

  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters promotional offers, and customer updates.
  • Implement marketing automation tools to nurture leads and convert prospects into customers.
  • Segment email lists and create targeted campaigns to improve engagement and lead conversion.


Customer Retention & Satisfaction:

  •  Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring effective solutions are provided.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to maintain strong working relationships and foster trust.


Project Management Support:

  • Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to align sales and marketing efforts with ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Provide marketing support for project launches, including promotional events, site tours, and client meetings.


Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Team Leadership and Training:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve targets and deliver high-performance results.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where ideas are shared and team goals are aligned.


 Sales & Marketing Reporting:

  • Track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and client feedback to continually optimize strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.


Qualifications and Requirements:

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or professional certifications in construction management, digital marketing, or sales/marketing is a plus.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction, real estate, or building materials industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, developing marketing strategies (including digital), and managing client relationships in a competitive environment.
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools, marketing automation platforms, and digital advertising tools.


Skills and Competencies:

  •  In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including key market trends, challenges, and customer needs.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Proficient with analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and presentations.
  • Strong negotiation, sales, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
