Job summary

To oversee Sales, Marketing C Client Services with the primary focus of designing and execution of OctaPlus Health’s sales and marketing strategy, brand positioning, and client relationship management. The role will focus on driving business growth through strategic partnerships, new client acquisition, retention initiatives, and the delivery of exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

Market Penetration G Business Growth

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to expand market share and strengthen the OctaPlus Health brand.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Manage advertising, digital campaigns, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility.
  • Target underserved segments such as SMEs, families and individuals where insurance uptake is low.
  • Develop and implement a product differentiation strategy with tailored health plans (e.g. micro-health insurance, family bundles) that resonate with local needs and income levels.
  • Develop and build strategic partnerships such as banks, telcos, and fintech platforms to expand distribution and access.


Client Services G Relationship Management

  • Lead client onboarding, engagement, and retention programs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated client issues promptly, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implement proactive follow-ups, claims support, and satisfaction surveys to boost loyalty.
  • Track cancellation rates, renewal ratios, and customer lifetime value to refine retention strategies.
  • Ensure seamless service across call centers, walk-ins, mobile platforms, and email.
  • Service quality KPIs: Monitor response time, resolution rate, and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Feedback loops: Use client feedback to inform product development and operational improvements.


Strategic Leadership

  • Provide market insights and competitor intelligence to guide business strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Work closely with Operations to align client service delivery with contractual commitments.


Innovation G Technology Integration

  • CRM systems: Implement tools to manage client relationships, track interactions, and personalize communication.
  • AI C automation: Use chatbots and automated workflows to handle routine queries and claims updates.
  • Data analytics: Leverage client data to predict churn, identify upsell opportunities, and improve targeting.


Team Leadership

  • Build, train, and manage a high-performing marketing and client service team.
  • Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and foster a culture of customer-centric excellence.


Performance Monitoring G Reporting

  • Measure campaign effectiveness via lead conversion rate, cost per acquisition, and brand awareness.
  • Client service dashboards: Provide real-time insights into service performance and client satisfaction.
  • Strategic reviews: Regularly assess alignment between marketing efforts and company goals.


 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in health insurance, financial services, or healthcare marketing and client service management.
  • Proven track record in business development, corporate client management, and brand growth.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
