Job Summary

The Marketing & Corporate Communications Business Partner is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the organization’s brand visibility, corporate reputation, and stakeholder engagement through integrated marketing and communication strategies. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the executive team, aligning communication initiatives with business objectives and ensuring consistent messaging across all internal and external channels. The incumbent will lead the development and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns, corporate communications, media relations, and digital engagement efforts to enhance brand equity and support business

Job Description/Requirements

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to drive product awareness, customer acquisition, and retention across all insurance lines.
  • Lead market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to guide campaign development and product positioning.
  • Manage relationships with advertising agencies, digital partners, and creative vendors to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Oversee execution of BTL and ATL campaigns, including media buying, events, sponsorships, and promotional campaigns.
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Support leadership in preparing regulatory reports, industry event communications, and investor presentations, where applicable.


Corporate Communications

  • Craft and manage corporate messaging for internal and external stakeholders, including press releases, executive speeches, newsletters, and announcements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with media and manage public relations efforts to shape a positive public image of the company.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage sensitive or reputational issues.
  • Provides relevant information across the organization and ensures the mechanisms are in place to enable timely flow of information
  • Support internal campaigns to drive employee engagement, communicate strategic priorities, and foster a performance-driven culture.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments on change communications, internal newsletters, and recognition programmes.
  • Spearhead the organisation’s CSR projects


Brand Management

  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints—digital platforms, print materials, branches, events, and customer communications.
  • Oversee brand refresh or repositioning projects when necessary, ensuring alignment with evolving business strategy.
  • Develop and execute a clear brand strategy that positions the company as a trusted insurer.
  • Ensure consistent brand application across all customer and internal touchpoints.
  • Conduct brand audits and customer perception surveys to guide brand enhancements.
  • Align branding with product, sales, and service initiatives for cohesive market presence.
  • Drive visibility through strategic campaigns, sponsorships, and CSR initiatives.


Digital & Social Media Management

  • Oversee the company’s digital presence, including website content, social media channels, and online reputation.
  • Drive digital marketing campaigns aligned with customer segments and business objectives.
  • Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize digital strategy and user engagement.
  • Leverage SEO, paid media, and content marketing to increase online visibility and lead generation.
  • Develop content calendars and digital storytelling strategies that reflect brand values and engage target audiences.
  • Ensure digital compliance with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and corporate standards.

Key Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • A postgraduate degree or equivalent marketing experience is an added advantage
  • Possession of Marketing qualifications (e.g. Chartered Institute of Marketing) or equivalent experience at this level
  • Minimum of 7years experience in similar role
  • Proven track record in managing campaigns, media relations, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and digital media, with experience in managing agencies and vendors.


Skills and Competencies

  •  In-depth knowledge and understanding of social and behavioural trends, and the impact on the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively target communication to specific audiences.
  • Ability to draw insights from marketing analytics and generate leads.
  • Demonstrates ability to negotiate partnerships and cross-promotions
  • Demonstrates ability to determine when a structured approach for the exchange of ideas is required and co-facilitates session
  • High level of creativity to effectively promote the organisation’s products/ services.
  • Excellent writing skill
  • Good coordination skills with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external parties.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Adobe Photoshop.
