Social Media Marketing Assistant(SMM Assistant)

Responsibilities:

As an Editorial Assistant, you’ll be able to dig into all editorial processes and perform such duties as:

• Work with comments and inbox on Facebook pages, Twitter and Instagram;
• Spotting human interest stories from our inbox and comments, encouraging followers to share their stories;
• Sharing client leads from our social media platforms to our marketing team;
• Monitoring and work with reviews section;
• Re-sharing top-performing articles;
• Sharing news to YEN WhatsApp channel;
• Publishing statuses, galleries, stories on Facebook;
• Publishing PR articles;
• Searching for post ideas that match topics according to the social media strategy.

Requirements:

• University degree in journalism/media studies or related field.
• Perfect command of the English language (you will have to take several tests to prove it).
• 1-2 years experience working as a social media manager or assistant.
• Experience in the media industry or digital/social media field would be an advantage;
• Strong written and verbal communications skills;
• Understanding of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace;
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to manage time effectively;
• A good laptop/PC (at least Intel 3);
• Good, stable and reliable internet connection (uncapped, with a line speed of at least 4MBps). Cellphone data is not acceptable.
