Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Online Marketer to join our team. The ideal Social Media Manager will lead our digital engagement efforts by creating, curating, and managing content across all social media platforms. They will also be responsible for planning, developing, and executing digital marketing strategies that enhance our online presence, drive traffic, and generate leads. The ideal candidate is creative, analytical, and has a passion for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with both B2B and B2C audiences.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals, including increasing brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
  • Research industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our messaging remains innovative and competitive.


Content Creation & Management:

  • Develop creative and high-quality content (graphics, videos, written posts, etc.) tailored to our industry.
  • Create a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure content consistency across all channels.
  • Ensure content is optimized for SEO and aligns with brand messaging and strategy.


Community Engagement:

  • Manage and monitor social media communities on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster relationships with industry influencers and partners.


Campaign Management:

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns and paid advertising efforts.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics (engagement rates, reach, conversion rates, etc.) to optimize future campaigns.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize spending to maximize ROI.


Analytics & Reporting:

  • Use social media analytics tools to measure the success of posts and campaigns.
  • Prepare monthly reports outlining progress, key metrics, and insights, with recommendations for strategy adjustments.


Brand Advocacy:

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice that aligns with our company’s values and industry standards.
  • Work with external agencies and vendors as necessary to enhance content quality and reach.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial sector.
  • Proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving digital landscape.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player.
  • Well organized, detail orientated and also able to take an overview.
  • Gets others onboard/compliant
  • Fluent in Twi and ideally other Ghanaian languages.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills
  • Supportive team player but also speaks out when seeing problems or wrongdoing.
