Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation & Curation: Develop powerful and distinctive content that encapsulates our brand ethos, values, and vision.
• Engagement: Foster and nurture online communities, ensuring active, positive, and constructive interactions across platforms.
• Strategy: Formulate and execute an effective multi-channel social media strategy, tailor-made for our African audience.
• Collaboration: Work in tandem with the marketing team to ensure brand alignment, tapping into trending topics and making Kayros a key voice in the conversation.
• Analytics: Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness and impact of social media campaigns, using insights to refine and recalibrate strategies.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years experience working in social media, content creation, influencer management or similar
• Understanding of social networking
• Self-starter, you’re confident single handedly undertaking tasks, managing timelines and delivering high quality work
• Impeccable writing and editing skills with a passion for storytelling & creativity while having meticulous attention to detail.
• A passion for telling captivating stories through words, and an understanding of how copy and design work hand-in-hand

Nice to have:

• Interest or previous experience in gaming and/or crypto space
• Experience working in a fast-growing tech start-up environment
• Good ability to multitask and manage priorities of various stakeholders in a large organization
• Content creation experience on personal social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube)
• Skills in video creation & editing
