Job Summary
As a Senior Brand Strategist, you will be a key contributor to the brand strategy of your accounts. You’ll develop a keen understanding of your client’s business requirements, generate insights that create the foundation for brand, creative, and engagement strategies, and help solve ad hoc commercial strategy problems. As a critical thinker, you will work collaboratively within the strategy team as well as with the account, creative, and scientific teams to facilitate strategic recommendations that lead to significant brand results.

Job Description/Requirements
What you’ll do:
- Manage and understand all research relating to audience, brand, and competition (this includes writing or offering a point of view on screening criteria, as well as applying qualitative and quantitative survey tools)
- Synthesize information on product, market category, and audience (patients, caregivers, and HCPs) to derive insights that can be leveraged to build brand, creative, and engagement strategies
- Monitor cultural and social trends, their impact on target attitudes, behavior, and perceptions, using a variety of market and research tools
- Shape the development of fundamental strategy frameworks and tools, including SWOT analyses, belief continuums, strategy maps, brand ladders, and brand positioning
- Contribute to or lead the development of tight, inspiring creative briefs and translate brand insights into ideas
- Clearly communicate and present ideas, POVs, and strategies to internal teams and clients
- Help develop and facilitate internal and client workshops
- Collaborate with colleagues from account, scientific, creative, and engagement strategy teams
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with patient and HCP marketing, including Pharma brand launch (rare disease experience preferred)
- Experience utilizing strategic tools for analysis (e.g., NetBase, Kantar, eMarketer)
- Experience co-facilitating client workshops
- Superb and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbal
- Adept at storytelling
- Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
About You:
- 3-5+ years strategic planning experience in a healthcare/pharmaceutical advertising agency environment
- Experience with patient marketing
- Experience working in brand strategy
- Strong and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbal
- Experience utilizing strategic tools and processes for analysis
- Experience participating in internal and client meetings, workshops, and processes
- Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience using research tools such as Sermo, NetBase, Kantar, Global Data/Datamonitor, or Decision Resources Group
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Communications, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Statistics, or Life Sciences
